There are no rules regarding your competition stage wear or jewellery for Ms Bikini, Ms Fitness, Ms Figure, Bodybuilding (men’s and women’s), or Ms Wellness divisions.
Men’s Physique competitors must wear board shorts. There are no rules regarding the cut, pattern, or colour; however, the shorts should finish above the knee.
ICN provides men’s Classic Physique trunks as part of your registration fees; however, you may get a custom-made pair if you wish. These should be in a similar style as those supplied by ICN.
ICN provides men’s Fitness trunks as part of your registration fees.
ICN provides two-piece stage wear for Ms. Sport Model as part of your registration fees. You may wear any sneaker shoe; however, a white sneaker looks best on stage.
We drug test at all competitions and randomly throughout the year. We typically test Overall winners; however, we can also test any Premium Member anytime. Refusal to provide a urine sample or fully cooperate in the testing process is considered a failed result.
Testing is carried out using urine samples, which are collected following strict WADA guidelines. The samples are sent to a WADA-approved lab in Utah, USA, for analysis. Those tested will receive their results via email. A failed result is forwarded to the ICN Anti-Doping Committee for further investigation and possible sanctioning and/or banning of the athlete involved.
You may have 1 person to support you backstage however this could change depending on the venue and number of athletes entered. Your backstage support person MUST have a general entry ticket to the competition.
We suggest you engage a Posing Coach, especially if this is your first time competing. A Posing Coach can help you maximise your physique while minimising flaws or weaknesses. The Event Information PDF has a list of Posing Coaches and their contact details.
Examples of ICN competitions and posing can be found on YouTube. Search ICN VIC, ICN NSW, ICN WA etc..
